Congrats to our LOES Media Festival team who won 4TH place in the overall NCSS Media Festival and 1st Place in the Poetry competition and 3rd place for Digital Trailer. On March 18, 2023, Newton County Media Services and Technology Department hosted the 2022 NCSS Media Festival for elementary students. The festival required students to read books selected by the media festival committee. We showcased a plethora of student artistic talents in our art exhibit. Students submitted artifacts ranging from Fan Art, T-Shirt Design, Poetry, and even Book Trailers based on the novel that was read for the NCMF Reading Bowl. In addition to the wonderful artwork that was submitted, teams across Newton County participated in our head-to-head style Reading Bowl competition.
Our Live Oak Media Festival did an excellent job place in NCSS Media Festival Competition!
